Admittedly I'm a sucker for anything grapefruit. Add in all natural grapefruit soda to a lightly malted German Lager and don't completely mess it up and odds are I'm going to be a pretty happy beer drinker.

Stiegl Grapefruit Radler pours out a hazy light orange color with a tiny wisp of white head that fades quickly. The nose is ruby red grapefruit tarness with the slightest hint of sugary sweetness. This beer tastes pretty much exactly like a half of ruby red grapefruit with a dusting of cane sugar sprinkled on top to balance the tartness. The grapefruit flavor is authentic and nothing like some grapefruit flavored Jolly Rancher would taste. Low carbonation with a reasonably sweet lingering finish. This beer was made for summer.
