Joseph Wolf has been a hugely welcome addition to the Minnesota beer scene and our store. I fell in love with the Berliner Weiss and was infinitely intrigued by the idea of a Belgian Strong Golden with local clover honey, chamomile, and rose hips.

Joseph Wolf Golden pours out a brilliant deep amber color. There’s a very noticeable tart floral scent going on. This isn’t one of those beers that advertises certain ingredients added and doesn’t follow through. The flavor is a burst of tart and flowery flavor. This beer is very juicy, tropical, and dry. The finish is left with a singed caramel flavor that helps steer this flavor train away from a puckering astringent finish. This is definitely another unique creation from Joseph Wolf.
