A Month of Muscats Pt.5

Having had a couple leftover bottles of Moscato at the end of the month I thought it would be a great idea to put them to one last good use and make up a drink that will be great for the next couple months. Time for some white Sangria my friends! After looking up various recipes online I came to the conclusion that really all I need is a bunch of fruit and some brandy to make this delicious concoction happen. My "recipe" is as follows:

2 bottles of Moscato (I used the last of the Barefoot, Three Muscateers and Bolla, came out to about 2 bottles)
1 Pineapple, cubed
3 Kiwi's, sliced
A Bunch of Strawberries, sliced
2 cups of Brandy
1 can Lemon-Lime soda
Sweetener to taste (I used about 1/4 cup of simple syrup and that worked pretty well)

After letting it sit over night, somewhere around 12+ hours, the end product turned out real well, almost too well honestly. The fruit added just enough tartness to the wine that it didn't become cloyingly sweet despite the amount of sweetner in the recipe and after pouring in a bit of the bubbly Cupcake Moscato d'Asti to give it a bit of a "POP!", this Sangria was pretty spot on for summer long consumption with a booze soaked fruity snack to boot. (My plan is to fish out all the fruit and freeze it to put in other drinks until its all gone...) Feel free to use my recipe for your next party, and please, stop in and let me know how you liked it!
