With the end of the month just a couple weeks out I figured that adding in our top selling Moscato is a thing I really should do. Barefoot Cellars is known for making very inexpensive wines to appeal to a mass audience, and with their Moscato they are sticking to that philosophy by producing a wine that is light, fruit forward and very juicy. As with many Moscatos, Barefoot makes a wine that is slightly effervescent and bursting with light tropical flavors coming mostly across as honeydew and peach and finishing off with a light, crisp, citrus acidity. All of those characteristics and the extremely reasonable price are sure fire reasons why the Barefoot Moscato is our number one selling wine at the shop. As for food paring, Barefoot recommends fresh fruits and mild cheeses, but I, on the other hand, recommend a spinach and beet salad with Asiago Parmesan dressing and all the fixings, but that's just me.
